After breakfast, begin your journey with a visit to Casablanca, including the famous Hassan II Mosque and some of the city’s central landmarks such as the Corniche and Mohammed V Square. After exploring Rabat, drive north through scenic mountain landscapes toward Chefchaouen, the famous Blue City nestled in the Rif Mountains. On arrival, settle into your hotel and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of one of Morocco’s most photogenic towns.

After breakfast, enjoy a full discovery of Chefchaouen, a charming mountain town founded in the 15th century and known for its blue-painted streets, relaxed atmosphere, and beautiful setting in the Rif Mountains.

Walk through the medina’s narrow lanes, discover artisan shops, small cafés, and lovely corners full of character. Visit Ras El Ma, the natural water source of the city, where locals have traditionally gathered for washing and daily life. This is a perfect day to enjoy photography, local culture, and the peaceful beauty of northern Morocco.

Return to your riad or hotel and overnight in Chefchaouen.

After breakfast, leave Chefchaouen and travel through the Rif and into the interior of Morocco. Your first major stop is Volubilis, the most important Roman archaeological site in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Explore its ancient columns, mosaics, and ruins, set in an open countryside landscape.

Continue to Meknes, one of Morocco’s imperial cities and the former capital of Sultan Moulay Ismail. After a stop to discover its historical character, continue to Fes, the cultural and spiritual heart of the country.

Today is dedicated to the discovery of Fes, the oldest imperial city in Morocco and one of the world’s best-preserved medieval cities. With your local guide, explore the historic medina of Fes, including its famous tanneries, artisan quarters, and the Al Quaraouiyine area.

After lunch, continue to the Merenid Tombs for panoramic views over the old city. Fes is a place of deep history, craftsmanship, and spiritual importance, making it one of the highlights of any Morocco tour.

After breakfast, leave Fes and travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Morocco, and continue to Azrou, where the cedar forest is home to Barbary macaque monkeys.

After a lunch stop in Midelt, continue through Errachidia and the magnificent Ziz Valley, famous for its palm groves and oasis scenery. Pass through Erfoud before arriving in Merzouga, where your hotel near the dunes awaits.

After breakfast, begin a deeper exploration of the desert region around Erg Chebbi. Travel through local desert villages and stop in Khamlia, where you can enjoy traditional Gnawa music. Continue to visit nomadic families and discover the dramatic contrasts of the Sahara landscape, from black volcanic plains to palm groves, salt flats, and golden dunes.

Later in the afternoon, begin your camel trek into the dunes and enjoy the unforgettable beauty of the Sahara at sunset. Arrive at your Berber desert camp, where dinner will be served and the evening can include traditional drumming and a peaceful night under the stars.

Wake up early to witness the sunrise over the dunes, then enjoy breakfast before continuing your journey. Travel through Rissani, known for its traditional souk, then stop in Erfoud to visit a local fossil workshop.

Continue to the dramatic Todra Gorge, where towering canyon walls create one of Morocco’s most spectacular natural sites. After lunch, drive through Dades Valley, Kelaat M’Gouna, and the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing the palm groves of Skoura before arriving in Ouarzazate.

You will have time to walk around the cascades, enjoy the scenery, and spot monkeys in the surrounding trees. After lunch in the area, return to Marrakech in the evening.
