Tour Overview
Discover the beauty of southern Morocco on this unforgettable 4-Day Marrakech to Merzouga Sahara Desert Tour, a journey through breathtaking landscapes, ancient kasbahs, dramatic gorges, and the golden dunes of the Sahara.
Starting from Marrakech, this adventure crosses the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass, offering panoramic views of traditional Berber villages and mountain valleys. Along the way, visit the legendary Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages.
Continue through Ouarzazate, known as the “Gateway to the Sahara” and home to famous film studios, before traveling through the beautiful Skoura Palm Grove and the Valley of Roses toward the dramatic landscapes of Dades Valley, where you will spend the first night.
The journey then takes you to the impressive Todra Gorges, often called the Grand Canyon of Morocco, before continuing toward Merzouga, home to the majestic Erg Chebbi dunes. Here you will enjoy a magical camel trek across the Sahara at sunset and spend the night in a traditional desert camp beneath the stars.
On the following days, explore Rissani, the spectacular Draa Valley, and the landscapes of the Anti-Atlas Mountains, before returning to Marrakech after an unforgettable Moroccan desert adventure.
