After breakfast, depart from Agadir and begin your scenic journey into southern Morocco. Travel through traditional Berber villages and the fertile landscapes of the Souss region, with a stop in Taroudant, a historic walled town often called the “Little Marrakech.”

Continue through Taliouine, famous as the saffron capital of Morocco, then pass through Tazenakht, known for its Berber carpets and artisan heritage. By late afternoon, arrive at the famous Ait Ben Haddou, one of the most impressive fortified villages in Morocco.

After breakfast, continue east through some of southern Morocco’s most beautiful landscapes. Pass through Ouarzazate, then drive via the palm groves of Skoura and the Rose Valley, known for its seasonal blossoms and kasbah scenery.

Continue through the stunning Dades Valley, where unusual rock formations and mountain roads create breathtaking views, including the famous Monkey Fingers landscape. From there, travel to the dramatic Todra Gorge, often called the Grand Canyon of Morocco, where you will have time to walk, explore, and enjoy the impressive canyon walls.

After lunch, continue through the palm groves of Tinjdad and reach Erfoud, famous for fossils and marble craftsmanship. You may stop at a local fossil workshop before continuing to Merzouga, where your accommodation near the dunes awaits. Dinner and overnight stay in Merzouga.

After breakfast, enjoy a full exploration of the fascinating desert region around Merzouga and Erg Chebbi, the largest dunes in Morocco. Drive through desert tracks and visit local Berber villages, discovering a landscape of black volcanic plains, palm groves, white salt beds, and golden dunes.

Later in the day, leave the vehicle and begin your unforgettable camel trek into the dunes of Erg Chebbi. Enjoy the beauty of the Sahara at sunset before arriving at your Berber desert camp. After dinner, the evening may include local drumming and a magical night under the stars.

Wake up early to admire the spectacular sunrise over the Sahara dunes, then return by camel to the hotel area where breakfast and a shower await. Afterward, begin the journey westward through southern Morocco.

Stop in Rissani, known for its traditional souk and role as one of the most important trading towns in the region. Continue through Alnif, Tazarine, and N’Kob, where the desert scenery is marked by rocky plains, oasis villages, and old caravan routes.

Drive through the magnificent Draa Valley, one of Morocco’s most impressive palm-filled valleys, lined with ancient kasbahs and green oases stretching along the river. Pass through Agdez and cross the Anti-Atlas Mountains before reaching Ouarzazate, the famous “Hollywood of Morocco.”

Check in to your accommodation and overnight in Ouarzazate.

After breakfast, enjoy a short visit in Ouarzazate, including time to discover famous attractions such as Kasbah Taourirt and, if desired, the city’s film studios that have made it famous worldwide.

Then begin the scenic drive back to Agadir via Tazenakht, Taliouine, and Taroudant. Enjoy lunch on the way and continue through the changing landscapes of southern Morocco.
