Experience the magic of the Moroccan Sahara on this 2-Day Fes to Merzouga Desert Tour, a perfect short adventure through the breathtaking landscapes of the Middle Atlas Mountains and the vast dunes of the Sahara Desert.
Starting from Fes, this journey takes you through the scenic Middle Atlas Mountains, passing the charming alpine-style town of Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco”. Continue through the cedar forests of Azrou, where you may encounter the famous Barbary macaques living among the ancient cedar trees.
Travel through the spectacular Ziz Valley, one of Morocco’s most impressive palm oases, before arriving in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Here you will enjoy an unforgettable camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi at sunset, followed by a traditional Moroccan dinner and an overnight stay in a Sahara desert camp beneath the stars.
The next morning begins with a magical sunrise over the dunes, before returning to Fes through the scenic landscapes of southern Morocco.
