Tour Overview
Experience the ultimate Moroccan adventure on this 8-Day Marrakech and Sahara Desert Tour, combining the cultural highlights of Marrakech with an unforgettable journey through southern Morocco’s spectacular landscapes.
Begin your trip by discovering the vibrant city of Marrakech, famous for its historic medina, colorful souks, and the lively Jemaa el-Fna square, a UNESCO-recognized cultural heritage site.
From Marrakech, travel across the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains via the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass, where traditional Berber villages and dramatic landscapes surround the winding mountain road. Along the way, visit the iconic Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s most famous fortified villages.
Continue through Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco”, and explore the spectacular Dades Valley and Todra Gorges, often called the “Grand Canyon of Morocco”.
The journey then leads to the magnificent Erg Chebbi dunes of Merzouga, where you will explore desert villages, meet Berber nomad families, listen to traditional Gnawa music in Khamlia, and enjoy an unforgettable camel trek across the Sahara dunes at sunset, followed by an overnight stay in a traditional desert camp under the stars.
The tour concludes with a scenic journey through the magnificent Draa Valley, Morocco’s longest palm oasis, before returning to Marrakech through the stunning landscapes of the Atlas Mountains.
